I made this outfit for Hannah out of some small scraps of fabric I had laying around and a stained shirt. The skirt is a small piece of orange fleece with a cotton ruffle and an elastic waist. I may make a tutorial on how to make this simple and cute skirt. The shirt had a stain on the front so I apliqueed a fleece flower over the stain and added some length to the sleeves with a small ruffle and some embroidery stitches. I think it turned out pretty cute...especially since the girl wearing it is so adorable :)
I love it when parents involve thier children in the kitchen. It is a great way to inspire their creativity and get them excited about what they eat! Hannah helped make "Pizza Sandwiches" for dinner and scarfed them down when they were done cooking!
Hannah's halloween costume was a fun creation for me this year. She was "FiFi the Flowertot" from www.fifiandtheflowertots.com
I made a flower to attach to her overalls and a flower headband. I think next year I will probably sew her whole outfit, but this worked this year. She loves Fifi!
